"You may probably not know or this may look like reiterating what many others are saying, anyways. PodWorks is more of a
workshop than a 'talking' event. We encourage all participants to actually
do things and learn. Hence, we request you to bring along some of the
following (whatever you can lay your hands on)
For Audio Podcasting
-----------------------------------
MP3 players (iPod or any other mp3 players)
Voice recorders (Some mp3 player also has inbuilt voice recording facility)
If you are bringing laptops, remember to bring headphones with mic.
For Video Podcasting
-----------------------------------
Digital Cameras (most cameras has video recording facilities). Remember to
bring all the necessary downloading cables.
Handycams
Mobile Phones with cameras ( again, don't forget the downloading cables)
Don't worry if you don't have a laptop to download. There will be many
others who will be bringing theirs and you can request one of them to
download it to tinker with it.
Always sweat the small stuff. Don't forget your chargers, Software CDs,
downloading cables, batteries. It would be a good idea to write down a
checklist. This way, you won't be forgetting some of the stuff.
Remember that the fun is in dirtying your hands with podcasting. Not by
watching others. But by actually doing it.

My 2 cents - event will be a great hang out even you can come with family learn how to make personal events web based videos, how to create trick sting clips & so on...some serious media, entertainment and internet industry veterans won't let you feel like you missed the weekend.....
